Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how NorthBridge Creator Partnerships Inc. (“NorthBridge”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information. We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and general international best practices.
What data we collect
- Brand applications: business and contact details, campaign goals, budget, and any campaign brief you upload.
- Influencer applications: name, contact details, social profiles, audience and performance metrics, and any media kit you upload.
- Contact & booking forms: name, email, phone, company, and your message.
- Newsletter: email address, optional first name, and your consent status.
- Technical data: limited analytics (only with your consent) and a hashed version of your IP address used for spam and abuse prevention.
Why we collect it
To evaluate and respond to applications, run and coordinate campaigns, reply to enquiries, send newsletters you opt into, protect our forms from spam, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information.
How we store and protect it
Data is stored in a secured database with access restricted to authorized team members. Uploaded files (media kits, briefs) are stored privately and are never publicly accessible; they can only be downloaded by authorized administrators through an authenticated channel. Passwords are hashed, connections are encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and we maintain activity logs for security monitoring.
How long we keep it
We retain application and enquiry data for as long as necessary to provide our services and for a reasonable period afterward for legal and operational purposes, then delete or anonymize it. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Who can access it
Authorized NorthBridge staff, and trusted service providers who help us operate (for example our email and hosting providers) under appropriate confidentiality obligations. We may share relevant creator details with a brand only as part of a campaign you have engaged in.
How media kits are handled
Media kits and campaign briefs are stored in private storage, restricted to authorized administrators, and used only to evaluate and run campaigns. They are never published or shared without a legitimate campaign purpose.
Public creator profiles (Creator Directory)
With a creator's explicit, opt-in consent, NorthBridge may publish an approved creator profile in our public Creator Directory at NorthBridgeAgency.ca and present it to potential brand partners. This only happens after both the creator approves the specific fields to display and a NorthBridge administrator approves the profile. Key points:
- The creator controls what is public. Each field — location, audience data, previous brand collaborations, exact rates or rate ranges, portfolio items, and individual social metrics — is shown only if the creator has marked it public. Fields default to private.
- Fields that may be displayed include: display name, public profile image, short bio, location (if allowed), languages, niches, content formats, linked social profiles, follower and engagement metrics (if allowed), audience information (if allowed), portfolio media (if allowed), previous collaborations (if allowed), rate or rate range (if allowed), availability, and a last-verified date.
- Contact details are never public. A creator's email, phone number, legal name, private notes, and any private media kit are never displayed and are never given directly to brands. NorthBridge handles all introductions.
- Correcting information. Creators can request changes at any time using the secure management link we provide, or by emailing us.
- Withdrawing consent. Creators can withdraw publication consent at any time from their management link. Their profile is removed from public view immediately, and we stop presenting it to brands. We keep only the minimal records required for legitimate legal and operational purposes.
- Deletion. Creators may request full deletion of their profile and associated data by emailing us.
- Retention. Invitation records and consent records are retained for the life of the profile and for a reasonable period afterward to evidence consent and meet legal obligations; invitation tokens are stored only as a one-way hash and expire.
